So, I guess I was working on a new mobile game a year ago, was in the game development groove, then an overwhelming feeling of anxiousness for a proper studio space hit me. I needed to get back into the basement and finish my studio space. However, the task of finishing the bathroom down there was going to take precedence, as it requires the most input and effort. After many days, I finally got it operational.
There are some things to do in the bathroom, like I need to make my own light switch and outlet covers to match, plus getting some art on the walls.
Hoping to get the artwork up in the next few weeks.
What about the actual studio space, you say? Still being worked on.
I'll get there, I swear.
So, what about game development? I'm still working on stuff, but mostly just writing on ideas, researching and conceptualizing. I am also trying to fix problems with Core Influence. A lot of people don't understand the game. Honestly, I did a bad job on the tutorial. Also, I should have made better decisions regarding the value of the game to the player and its unlockables. I'm planning on updating the game without the need to unlock the other game modes with the in-game currency: ring balance. Instead, watch a complete video for each of the other 3 game modes and they will be unlocked. I'll be lowering the unlock costs, too. Planning on the player being able to unlock everything within 10-15 minutes of play. There will still be interstitial videos every couple of plays, but very, very few.
